But there are some situations and conditions where use of our products is strongly discouraged. These devices create flickering light, which can cause seizures in persons with photosensitive epilepsy. You may be photosensitive and not know it. 1derworks products are designed for avocational and recreational purposes. No medical claims are made for 1derworks products, express or implied. They are not medical devices and should not be used for the relief of any medical condition. Please consult with your licensed medical practitioner prior to use for any other purpose as the machine is not intended as a replacement for medical or psychological treatment. Our products are not intended to affect the structure or any function of the human body. These products are not approved for any purpose by the US FDA. If you, or anyone else who will use one of our machines, are subject to any form of seizures, epilepsy or visual photosensitivity, are using a pacemaker, suffering cardiac arrhythmia or other heart disorders, currently taking stimulants, tranquilizers or psychotropic medications, specifically including illicit drugs and alcohol, please do not use our, or any other Light/Sound mind machine system. In addition, even if you have never had a seizure, there is a small chance that you are photosensitive, and exposure to flashing lights can cause a seizure. If you are not willing to accept this risk, please do not use a light/sound mind machine system. Your experience should feel pleasant and we recommend that you set the volume and light intensity levels low before you, or anyone you loan your system to, uses it. Payments Accepted We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards and eCheck through PayPal (currently available to US, UK, and Canadian customers only). We also accept money orders and guaranteed checks in US dollars (USD). Credit card payments will show a charge to LifeWorks, 1derworks, Paypal LifeWorks, Paypal - LifeWorks 1derworks, or Clickbank. Shipping Policy In-stock items will be shipped within five business days. Within USA We ship via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Due to shipment policies of these carriers, we recommend that you allow 2-3 weeks for delivery in the US. Delivery to remote areas may take longer. Typically our standard shipment method provides delivery within 3-5 business days of order placement. You may select a quicker delivery method during checkout. International As of Feb 25, 2007, we no longer ship to addresses outside the USA. Lost Shipments By placing an order with us you agree that you will not hold 1derworks.com or LifeWorks liable for any orders lost or damaged while in the possession of the shipment carrier. Your recourse is to request insured delivery. The amount that is recovered is subject to the regulations and policies of the shipment carrier. You may review the USPS insurance policies at http://www.usps.com/insurance/welcome.htm. To insure your shipment, select "Shipping Insurance" during checkout. Any other questions please contact us. Taxes Some orders may incur sales tax. Sales taxes will be shown at checkout. Various tariffs and taxes may apply to shipments to some countries and are the responsibility of the purchaser. Back Orders and Split-ship Orders Back Orders - In the unlikely event that any items in your order are unavailable for immediate delivery, we will contact you. You will have the option to cancel your order, wait until the back order item(s) can be shipped, or split-ship (see next item). Split-ship Orders - Occasionally, we must ship items in separate shipments. We will notify you if this is the case with your order. Items must be returned undamaged in their original containers. Refunds or exchanges will occur after returned goods have been received and processed by 1derworks.com. Unless expressly stated, no guarantee as to effectiveness for any condition or individual is offered or implied. Theta Technologies and Mindplace offer 30 days unconditional guarantee on their products. Photosonix offers a 1 year warrantee on their products. A 10% restocking fee applies to all 1derworks.com products returned for reasons other than defect. Price Guarantee We will refund 100% of the difference if a price on our web site is reduced within 30 days of the shipping, pickup or delivery date. You may receive the refund only by contacting us.
